HRQOL is a powerful predictor of mortality in ESRD patients [9 10]. Euvolemia is also a predictor of mortality in PD patients [1, 2]. However, monitoring of HRQOL is not routinely done and accurate assessment of volume status is relatively crude in clinical practice.
